Maximizing Your Conference Experience
- If you are attending the pre-conference intensives, please check-in between 11am and 1pm on Monday April 20th. Lines will be longer closer to 1pm and the campus is large so arrive early. All participants will receive a nametag and directions to pick up their welcome bag at registration. It's quickest to check in individually since we have no group registration in place.
- Snacks and water will be served. Coffee is also available throughout the conference courtesy of LifeWay in the Exponential Lounge (Area E). Lunch is available for purchase Monday and Tuesday and will be served compliments of Angel Food on Wednesday. House Blend Cafe is our Monday-Tuesday lunch vendor and there are many restaurants close by.
- Main Conference registration runs from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday April 21st. Attendees checking in on Monday for the pre-conference intensives will receive their main conference materials at that time and do not need to re-register on Tuesday.
- The conference includes 5 main plenary sessions. Erwin McManus speaks Tuesday afternoon, Marc Choi and Craig Groeschel Wednesday morning, Eddy Leo and Bob Roberts just after lunch Wednesday, Ajai Lall and Derek Duncan later on Wednesday, and Francis Chan on Thursday morning. All attendees are encouraged to attend these sessions in the main auditorium of the Worship Center.
- The conference includes 7 main tracks integrated throughout the conference. These are essentially conferences within the main conference. Each of the 7 main tracks consists of 5 one hour sessions. Main tracks include (1) Pre-launch, (2) Post-launch, (3) Reproducing Churches, (4) Multi-ethnic, (5) Missional Church Planting, (6) Spouses, and (7) Nuts and Bolts. Each attendee pre-registered for one of these tracks. We are allowing "track jumping" on a space available basis only. If you would like to jump tracks, please wait to be seated until the start of the session to verify there is seating space available.
- Traduccion en Espanol Dispuesto. Spanish translation is offered during all plenary sessions, Reproducing Movements sessions, and other sessions where you see "Translation Available." Headsets are available at the Registration Desk in Lobby C for the worship auditorium. Watch for the signs and grab a headset for wireless in-ear translation in real time.
- Exponential Lounge (Area E) is a great place to hang-out and to connect with people. There will be live interviews with key speakers, book signings with speaker/authors, free coffee and snacks served in this new destination location (see map).
- Welcome / Information /Check-in Desk in the Worship Center, Area C, will be continually staffed.
- Wireless internet is available in most areas. A number of bloggers will be posting updates to their web sites throughout the conference.
There will be special programming over lunch including a presentation of brand-new research by Ed Stetzer (Wednesday, Faith Hall-Stageside), an interterview with Erwin McManus (Tuesday, Exponential Lounge). Check onsite for location and times of other special sessions.
- Church on Wheels and National CineMedia proudly present a "Night at the Movies." Come learn about mobile ministry and how theatre worship can help your church achieve its vision to grow in the community. After learning about mobile ministry and theatre worship, stay for dinner and the movie of your choice, compliments of Church on Wheels and National CineMedia. Register now.
- In addition to products available at sponsor booths, the Exponential Resource Center is located in the Exponential Lounge (Faith Hall - Area E). Books by all conference authors, as well as other fine resources are on sale. Some authors will also hold book signings (see page 90-91 for details).
- We work hard to improve the conference from year to year. Please stop by the information booth and give us feedback. An online survey will also be available following the conference. We appreciate your input and pay close attention to it each year.
- Sponsors and exhibitors help keep the registration fee low. Please take time to visit their booths.
We are planning the 2010 Exponential Conference in Orlando. The theme is "Transformation: It Begins in the Heart of One." Register during the 2009 conference for just $99 (price will never be lower). Stop by the information table.
- Group Courtesy rooms are available for several networks, denominations, or other alliances. If your group is interested in a place to gather, discuss, or just relax, let us know for next year. The following groups have rooms reserved this year: Evangelical Free Church of America; Converge USA; North America Missions Board; Assemblies of God; Exponential Network.
